Group Meeting 2

Group meeting number 2 to dicuss the groups progression and ideas. We discussed the idea and how we have moved it on from the first few meetings and emails. We have decided the Robotics and being treated like a machine when yougo through school is our main narrative. We wanted to show how when you are a child you have no concept of time, and as you grow up and go through education you become more aware of things, part of growing up but most of your childhood is spend in education.
We have decided to take the idea of imagination and pattern, we want the first few images to be intense with colour and pattern to show this, and as we progress through the editorial the images become less colourful and lose the pattern. In the last few images we are adding clocks to show how you have more concept of time and so much pressure in education to get the right answer and pass your exams... This is showing how in school you lose your imagination and creativity, everyone is told to be a certain way and there is only ONE right answer.
We also discussed the garments me and Sophie have started to source and everyone was really pleased with the progress, i think we have a good concept and have developed it really well. I really like the idea of looking at this editorial and not knowing from first glance that it is about education.
I feel the this time we have worked a lot better as a group, we have learnt we need to communicate a lot more and discuss every little aspect. I think the idea is coming together really well.
