Make-up ideas

These are some make-up ideas i have found.Me and Sophie haven't decided on a final make-up idea. I feel for the images towards the end where the clothes are dark and structured we should keep the make-up quite plain, or even add just a bit of gold or silver eye shadow around the eye. I think this would really bring out the silver/gold robotic feel you think of when you think of robots and machinery.

This clean, plain base is what we want to work with, and then add the coloured bits around the eyes. Because some of the images with all the patterns are so intense we want the make-up to fit, but be abit toned down.

These smoky/silver eyes are the kind of thing i imagined, just a little bit of colour around the face, but not too much as we want to focus on the styling and feel of the image.

Marc Jacobs  -Make-up for 2009 +2010

These are some make-up ideas for the images with all the pattern, i think is we stick to adding colour around the eyes, lots of intense colour, then the make-up will fit in with the styling, but won't be too much. I think if we went over the top with the make-up and did loads of different colours it could become too much and crazy.

Just the intense colours around the eyes is really eye-catching and makes the make-up more focused. 1970's and 1980's inspiration.

Christian Dior- Make-up

1960's inspired make-up. I liked how the lashes were slightly underneath the eye, making the eye look a lot bigger than it actually it is. And and the different colours around the eye would match our crazy pattern theme for the earlier set of images.
