Hairstyles

These are some images to show the chosen hairstyle idea. I had seen Alexander Wang and Thakoon's 2010 Collections and this is a hairstyle they used for the shows. I feel it would work really well with our theme. The slick-back look would keep the hair structured and strong, just like the kinds of outfits with are trying to create towards the end of our editorial. It will also work for the first set of images as the hair will be kept off the face and we can show the make-up becoming more intense. Also because i found the trend from 2 designers catwalk shows it is also on trend now, which is something me and Sophie are trying to do through the styling aswell.

Thakoon Hair style

 Our models hair is really long, like the models in this picture. I think it looks really good with the long hair as the gelled hair is only at the top and the rest is free to flow at the back. With abit of height at the back of the head it works really well.

Alexander Wang Hairstyle

The hair looks greasy, but with the plainer make-up and stern look on the models face, i think it loos quite robotic and harsh. Very intense, which what we are trying to achieve with the styling.
